COVID-19: MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD

Europe and the world are in a completely unusual and extraordinary situation. We share your concerns about how the coronavirus can affect our loved ones, our colleagues, our customers, our business, our pets and livestock: indeed, the entire community!
The spread of the coronavirus has put everyone in a difficult and unpredictable situation, including Finntack. As of today, all races in Norway and Denmark have been cancelled, the consequences of which will affect our business. It is expected that several other countries will follow these measures. No one knows what will happen in the future, but we are following the situation closely and hoping for the best.
As of now, none of Finntack's employees are infected, and we are following all guidelines and terms that have been provided in connection with the coronavirus. Our logistics center and production sites will be able to deliver as usual. Our main warehouse is in Finland, and at the time of publication, things are normal there. Of course, this can change, so we are watching the situation continuously.
Internally, Finntack has stopped all business travel, to be replaced by communication via telephone, email and videoconferences. We are hoping for the best, that everyone stays healthy, and that together we can manage to get through this difficult situation.
All harness racing has been cancelled in Norway and Denmark. Of course, we hope things return to normal as soon as possible but, like everyone else, we have little information to go on. We have chosen to partially close our stores in Norway and France with reduced hours of operation. If you have questions about opening times, contact the specific store through its Facebook page and they will reply there.
Our online shop will still be open as usual. Throughout March we are running a campaign called "Get Ready for the Racing Season" with various offers. We now think this is a little wrong considering that the races in Norway and Denmark have been cancelled, and so we are adding an extra coupon for 20% off to one optional FT_spring product.

In demanding times, we do everything we can to look after our employees, customers and partners. Health and safety considerations always come first, so together we must adapt to new everyday routines and solve the challenges these create for our businesses.
