The coronavirus has put everyone in a difficult situation, and no one knows exactly what will happen next. Almost all countries have suspended horse racing, and of course this affects all businesses that are associated with the sport.
"This is clearly an extraordinary situation, with almost all countries cancelling their harness races. We are taking full measures, following the situation closely and hoping for the best," says Finntack's sales and marketing manager, Denis Marques.
"On the plus side, our production manager has quickly set up the production of hand sanitiser. We had this product in the previous line, which has enabled us to start making the product on short notice. The demand for hand sanitiser is very high now", he says.
He adds that he hopes that everyone follows the restrictions and directives in their own countries, so that we can contain this virus as quickly as possible.
Although most people are currently seeing their lives turned upside down, we still have a responsibility to take care of our animals as best we can.
The best thing for our horses is to avoid major changes as much as possible. Some of our shops have closed, but the online shop is still open, so you have the opportunity to buy what you need to maintain a normal life for you and your horse.
"We are shipping goods as usual and no changes are being made to our logistics for the time being. Should there be any changes we will inform you right away", says Denis Marques.
We are also starting the biggest sale in our history. "CRAZY DAYS" was earmarked for later this year, but we chose to have it now instead, says Marques.
